Sale conditions of wood are specified by the regulation of Director – General of the Sate Forests.
Within the framework of the individual sale , the foresters try to meet the fast growing demand, because more and more people use wood in order to heat their houses. Contrary to general opinion, these are not only village people, even though they prevail among recipients. The growth of firewood demand is the result of occurrence of new housing estates built in the suburbs of large agglomerations, where houses are usually equipped in fireplace heating installations.
Firewood is not only the most ecological heat source, but also is much more attractive in respect of relation of price and electric efficiency, rather than cola, oil, gas or electric power.
In recent years, the Sate Forests increased the sale of firewood of one third – up to over 4 million cubic meters annually. Some of customers choose already prepared and cut into pieces wood, the others very willingly obtain it by themselves after arranging all details and fulfilling particular safety conditions, and after paying the fee; that concerns mainly so called "thinnings". Such a raw material is very cheap, that is why many people from village areas profit from such possibility.

Sprzedaż drewna prowadzona jest w leśnictwach oraz w biurze nadleśnictwa, od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 7:00 -14:30.

Tryb postępowania:
- Sprzedaż w biurze Nadleśnictwa:
- Klient zainteresowany zakupem detalicznym kontaktuje się z osobą zajmująca się sprzedażą drewna:
- Bartosz Chrzanowski tel. 885 502 943 lub z leśniczymi (wykaz telefonów znajduje się na stronie internetowej nadleśnictwa w zakładce kontakty),
- Po uzgodnieniu ilości i rodzaju zamawianego surowca, leśniczy przekazuje dane dotyczące zakupu do osoby zajmującej się sprzedażą drewna w biurze Nadleśnictwa,
- Klient otrzymuje informację o kwocie do zapłaty,
Należności są przyjmowane w kasie nadleśnictwa kartą lub gotówką oraz bezgotówkowo w formie przelewu na rachunek bankowy Nadleśnictwa Waliły:
- BNP Paribas S.A. O/ Białystok 44 2030 0045 1110 0000 0072 8850.
Tytuł przelewu: za drewno w detalu, imię i nazwisko oraz adres kupującego drewno. Za dzień dokonania zapłaty uznaje się datę wpływu środków na rachunek bankowy Nadleśnictwa Waliły.
- Nadleśnictwo wystawia fakturę tradycyjną w przypadku zapłaty w kasie lub elektroniczną w przypadku zapłaty przelewem, której odbiór następuje po uzgodnieniu z leśniczym. Po otrzymaniu dokumentu kupujący uzgadnia wywóz drewna z lasu.
- Sprzedaż w kancelarii leśnictwa:
- Klient zainteresowany zakupem detalicznym kontaktuje się z leśniczymi (wykaz telefonów znajduje się na stronie internetowej nadleśnictwa w zakładce kontakty),
- Po uzgodnieniu ilości i rodzaju zamawianego surowca leśniczy wystawia asygnatę oraz paragon kupującemu, klient dokonuje płatności gotówką,
- Po otrzymaniu dokumentów kupujący uzgadnia wywóz drewna z lasu.
